Those were the final totals from the Twitter poll that I put out yesterday.

And yes, they are going to have to pay Tunsell.

Tunsell's got one year left on the deal that he signed a few years ago in Houston.

He takes him through 2026. And, you know,

if you're wondering, well, you know, he's going to be a 33, 34, 35 year old left tackle with that

contract, with the new contract. Yes, that's true. Trent Williams is currently 37 years old.

Currently, in terms of average annual salary,

you've got, at average annual salary, Tunsell is currently fifth in the league at $25 million.

The deal he signed was a three-year, $75 million deal in

2023 that ends in 2026. Slater just signed the most recent big deal, and that was

before this season started, and then he, of course, got injured and lost for the year, but a

four-year, $114 million deal with the practical guarantees

at $92 million. Yeah, I don't think they have a choice. You can't, these guys, these left

tackles that are elite don't grow on trees. If you want to hit me with, you know, numbers that say left

tackles don't age well, I'll hit you with, well, that's not a conversation that's anywhere

near similar to other positions. But I think, you know, the offensive line in this lost season

that were in the midst of, 10 games into it with still seven left,

to me there is a positive takeaway, and it's the O line. You know, the Tunsel deal was a deal
