For many people, faith has

0:21.7

just become, well, irrelevant. Christianity in particular. But it wasn't always that way. Once upon a time,

0:28.5

the Christian faith was irresistible. The original version, the version depicted in the New

0:33.2

Testament, well, it's still very much irresistible. And what did the original, the irresistible

0:38.2

version look like, and what did it sound like? Stick around, and we'll talk about it today,

0:54.9

there are a lot of strange things about you. If you don't know what they are, the people closest to you, they know all the strange things about you. And even though we've never met, and this is kind of offensive, and especially if you're not a church person, it's like, oh, here we go. But this is, this is for all of us. 1:17.4

what's best for you sometimes, maybe oftentimes, you ignore your own good advice. And me too.

1:27.2

Health advice, financial advice, relationship advice, marriage

1:30.7

advice, parenting advice, that you, like, you have acted against your own best interest. And so

1:36.7

here's what we all have in common. This isn't a Christian thing. This is just a thing thing.

We have all been our own worst enemies at time. In fact, your greatest regret, which I bring up all the time, I don't know why, but your greatest regret, and this is true for all of us, your greatest regret, when you were moving in the direction of that greatest regret, you kind of knew it was a mistake. You knew that, you know, I don't know if this is the wisest thing to do, smartest thing to do. Your mama warns you, you know, people warns you, but you're like, you know, I can figure this

2:20.5

We promise ourselves over. your mind going, yeah, you can, because you kind of knew. I mean, and so why do we do this?

2:19.0

It's like, it's like we can't help ourselves. We promise ourselves over and over, never again,
