Somebody described what I do is in your face Lutheranism

I thought that was a kind of funny way of putting it but I guess that's what we do

here it's it's all about comparing what people are saying to the word of God. Why? Well because Jesus

warns us that in the last days to not let anyone deceive you. In fact that's one of

our texts that we'll be looking at today is Mark Chapter 13.

And that means that one of the things that we do as Christians

is that when people make biblical claims,

or spiritual claims, or say that God said such and such or so and so or to do this or that.

The first thing we do is don't go, we wish to go, okay, well you said God told you

to do that so we'll do that.

No, what we do is we get into God's

word and we say well let's well let's test what you've said against God's
