You know, it was weirder than I expected it to be.

Jennifer Wilson is a writer for the New Yorker.

And this orgasm faking lesson, it was technically research.

She just wrote this article on Hollywood Intimacy Coordinators,

and she figured the best way to understand this new job was to get certified to do it.

Can you just define for me what is an intimacy coordinator? It's a long convoluted definition.

That seems meaningful on its own.

People, even people in Hollywood don't exactly know what they do.

For the record, SAG AFRA, the Actors Union, defines intimacy coordinators as both advocates and movement coaches for sex scenes.

And these days, just about every production with a romantic plotline considers hiring one.
