Jordan, does President Biden want to cancel student loan debt?

He seems to be getting into getting into the idea.

I called him up to talk about these rumors that Joe Biden is about to forgive a huge chunk

of American student loan debt.

I was curious about what was happening here, because President Biden, he has never been

enthusiastic about this idea.

My impression, watching the Biden campaign, he was kind of bullied into the idea of promising

to cancel student loan debt by Elizabeth Warren, who was like, I'm getting rid of this

on day one.

Barely even, I'd say he is like grudgingly suggested he might sort of do something

possibly.

His stance, no promises.

Yeah, no problem.

Basically, during his campaign, what he said is he would be open to canceling up to $10,000

of student debt.

Oh, and by the way, Congress should do it.

Right.

That was the key.

He's like, if Congress will do it.

And I mean, Congress was not going to do this.
