Well, in my world, a whole, whole lot let me explain. What these two have in common for me is guts, resilience, patience, hanging in, hanging tough.

And I don't mean Micah or Baker, I mean me.

What these two have in common are that with Baker Mayfield, I planted my flag early.

I said before his draft, I would take him first overall and that he will live up to that.

And then for what seemed like 100 years,

it was really three, really four long years,

all I heard from the outside in was he's a bust.

You got to give it up.

You were wrong about Baker Mayfield.

No, I said, I will be right about Baker Mayfield if, of course, he gets some

opportunity somewhere, which eventually he obviously did in Tampa. I hung in and hung on for Baker

Mayfield because I believed in Baker Mayfield.

Micah Parsons, as you know, I was all in on as a rookie.

Didn't see him coming before the draft. It was a little surprised he fell all the way to 12th in the draft.

Kept hearing at Penn State he was very immature and close to uncoachable, so he fell into Jerry Jones' lap at 12,

after the Eagles could have taken him and didn't, even though there was the recent report

that they were another team that did try to trade for him, probably tried to steal him if I know Howie Roseman.
