Summary

I’m joined by Tripp Kramer, world-renowned dating men’s dating coach and host of the “How to Talk to Girls” podcast. Tripp and I discuss the biggest misconceptions that men and women have about each other and what men wish women did differently in dating. We answer listener questions from women about assessing interest, paying for dates, friend zoning, bringing up exclusivity, and nerves going into your first trip with a new significant other. We answer questions from guys about when to make a move, sending the post-date follow-up text, staying motivated when you’re having no luck, showing interest while still taking it slow, and relaxing through the process of finding love.

Hey guys, it's Alana and welcome back for another episode of seeing other people.

0:12.9

Wow, you guys, we made it through Thanksgiving.

0:15.1

We're done with Black Friday.

0:16.6

And now we are in the final stretch of this year.

0:20.4

That is crazy. I don't know where this year went,

0:22.6

but there's still time. There's time to enjoy. There's time to relax. And there's time to get

0:28.3

shit done. So if there's anything that you are thinking right now, like you would be really

0:33.0

damn proud of yourself if you were to accomplish this by the end of the year, write it down,

0:38.3

make a plan, and do it. Like, I know we all have goals. We all, you know, have things that we want

0:43.4

to accomplish. There are bad habits we want to break. There are things we want to change about

0:47.5

ourselves. There are things we want to stop doing or start doing. Like, this is a really good time

0:52.4

to actually zero in and commit to that and you know make it a

0:57.2

goal for yourself whatever that thing is you have a month now to get it done and while everyone's

1:02.9

focusing on like oh well I'll start my resolutions next year or I'll start this habit next year like

1:07.8

no now is a perfect time to do it it's also a good distraction from like

1:11.7

all of the of the holidays that wasn't even a word obviously but like i don't know i feel like the

1:17.5

holidays are a lot it's like a lot is being thrown at you you're trying to rush to finish work to finish

1:23.1

school for the semester whatever it is but at the same time, like, you want to relax. There's also

1:27.7

holiday plants and holiday shopping and a lot of holiday parties. And it's just so much at once of

1:33.0

like this pressure to have a great time, but also this pressure to relax. And it's really

1:38.9

confusing. So I think if there is a goal that you can set for yourself to accomplish, maybe it's, you know,
