And this apropos of nothing statement by Melania Trump came as quite a surprise to everyone, I think, maybe even including Donald Trump.

And I have to wonder if she's under some sort of duress or maybe being blackmailed.

I'm not sure.

But what is Melania Trump trying to get out ahead of?

Why, after the Epstein saga had all but disappeared from corporate media and the news,

why would the administration authorize the first lady to go out and make a statement

pushing the Epstein files right back into the spotlight?

Now, there's a few theories floating around out there,

and I'm going to tell you mine on today's episode of the breakdown.

So by now, you've all seen it, prompted by seemingly nothing whatsoever.

The first lady came out this week and gave a statement on her ties or lack thereof to Jeffrey Epstein. Watch.

The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.

The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility and respect.

I do not object to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.

I never been friends with Epstein.

Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time,

since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach.

To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell.

My email replied to Maxwell cannot be catarized as anything more than casual

correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't amount to anything more than a tribal note. I am not Epstein's victim.

Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance at the New York City

Party in 1998.
