Most of you know my story before I found success as a blogger.

My health had dramatically declined to the point of going into a code blue while being hospitalized.

After hundreds of tests and being seen by every specialist in the book, the outcome was looking pretty grim.

My wife got an email from a person she worked with

that suggested seeing a doctor who specialized in autonomic disorders.

At that point, I could not drive or even get up to use the bathroom most of the time.

My mind was a shell of what it once was, and I struggled

to find words to carry on the most basic of conversations. The new doctor brought my mind back from

the darkness within 60 days of treatment. During this same period, my wife became pregnant with her first

child. Little did I know that God was lifting me up for my wife became pregnant with her first child.

A month later, my wife was diagnosed with stage three inflammatory breast cancer in the fifth month of her pregnancy.

Because of the aggressive nature of the cancer, the doctors wanted us to choose between my wife and my unborn child.

I did not accept this. I spent every waking hour over the next four days studying whatever research I could find on pregnant women and breast cancer.

Our story had a happy ending. I was able to find a study that led the doctors

down a different path. There were some scary moments during my wife's mastectomy that was

performed at the six-month mark of her pregnancy, but everyone pulled through. When I started my
