Summary

What drives individuals to abandon personal responsibility and plunge into extreme ideologies? This episode dives into the psychology behind the blame culture that feeds extremism, with psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott offering her insights. From the online echo chambers that amplify grievances to the disturbing normalization of violence in certain cultures, the discussion uncovers how societal shifts and unchecked ideologies pave the way to horrific acts. Is it possible to intervene and halt these dangerous pathways before it's too late?
