When God put Christ on the cross, penalty was paid, and God had paid the price to redeem us back.

And because of that, we could give us an inheritance, deliverance, transfer us into His kingdom.

And I hope that you might just get a couple of things out of this.

Dominantly, one would be to thank God for what He's done.

This Thursday, Thanksgiving Day here in the United States provides a perfect opportunity for you to pause and reflect on the things you're thankful for.

But have you ever wondered what should make Christians most thankful?

Yeah, Phil, well, this letter was emailed to us on August 24th of this year at 514 in the morning.

And the woman who wrote it is named Donna. And that's an important little note. So here's the letter.

Donna told us this, in mid-July, my husband and I read John MacArthur's book, Safe in the Arms of God.

I'm not sure what had prompted me to get a copy from the library. I was surprised and happy that the public library had the ability to get it.

A week or so after reading the book, we had the unexpected, happy surprise to learn that our daughter and her husband were expecting their second baby.

But yesterday, that is August 23rd, we found out that the baby had no fetal heartbeat.

At the end of today's grace, do you radio broadcast? Now this is early in the morning on August 24th.

Oh, what a comfort to be reminded of how God loves us and has provided Scripture and words of comfort for us to share with our daughter and son-in-law.

God has provided what we need before we knew that we needed it.

This morning, still August 24th, I'll be going to my daughter and son-in-law's home and accompanying my daughter to the hospital.

They both were raised in church and know the Scriptures yet they do not walk with the Lord or go to church.

Please pray for them, and their five-year-old daughter, our precious granddaughter.
