Well, greetings, my friend, and welcome to episode number 867 of the Potter's cast. So happy about today's episode because we are going to be talking to a master potter. But before we get to our conversation with that, I told you that this weekend, Sunday specifically, there is going to be a sale, a second sale,

and I think just, you know, in general there's just a bunch of pots that are going to be there,

up at Circa in Bellingham, Washington, and my wife has got some pots that are going to be there.

Now, what I said in the last episode was that it's like from 11 to 3 or something like

that, but that I was going to be there a whole time. I think the plans have changed a little bit because the setup is different than I was originally thinking. So I'll be there for part of the time. I don't know exactly which time, but yeah, I think it's going to be a cool gig. I'm looking forward to seeing all the cool pots there.

Okay, today's guest, we've got Brad Lale coming on this show, and we kind of had a fun conversation because the dude is a potter.

He's a potter's potter. This guy cranks out the pots. He makes really good pots. He makes beautiful

work, and he puts it out.

So we end up talking about what makes a good pot.

And that's what we titled the show.

And so we basically get to the Mud Meets to Bat Run and we just start talking through.
