Turn with me in the Bible to 1 John the 4th chapter.

1 John chapter 4.

And we'll begin reading about verse 7.

John, whom the Spirit of God used to pin this this also penned the gospel account of John,

one of the 12 apostles of the Lamb, one of the three Peter, James, and John, that were so close to the master.

In fact, if you had to say that there could be one that was perhaps closer than any of the rest to the master personally, it would be this one.

He's the one.

When you see him around the table, he's as close to Jesus as he can get, got his head on his shoulder.

He's the one that when everybody else is run and gone,

he's standing at the foot of the cross with the women.

You remember that?

And when Jesus looked at him and said,

son, that's your mother, mother, that's your son.

And he took Jesus' mother home with him.

And John had such a revelation of Jesus as love and light.

And he talked about it.

And the Spirit of God spoke about it through him.

In the Gospel account of John and in 1st John, 2nd John, 3rd John, over and over again.

And this fourth chapter of John is one of the strongest areas where the Spirit of God is speaking through him about it.

He said, verse 7, Beloved, let us love one another.

For love is of God, and everyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

He that loves not, knows not God, for God is love.
