Hi, I'm James MacDonald and welcome back to our study on the book of Revelation,

week by week, verse by verse, God's word, the glory of Jesus Christ revealed to us.

And, you know, a lot of talk these days about politicians and kings and all the rest of it.

But Jesus Christ is the king, and he is the king of kings and he stands above and

beyond all the things in the newspaper all the anxieties of your heart all of the

things that weigh us down and cause us to look at the future and wonder what's

going to happen and am I going to be okay? What about those I love?

Today's message is about learning to hope in the king

and Jesus Christ himself and the kind of church

that he is building in you and me.

So let's get into God's word together.

The passage is Revelation chapter two,

which you might know, Revelation two and 3 are his letters to the seven churches.

Let's get started together.
