Summary

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to Emily Austin about her career path from sports journalism to advocacy; why Israel is making a massive mistake by not releasing the footage from the October 7 attacks by Hamas to the public; how watching the October 7 footage changed her forever; why she is focusing on combatting anti-Semitism and advocating for Israel; the rise of hatred and extremism; how radical activists are turning their sights on America; the new low hit by pro-Palestinian protests in NYC; the challenges facing society and the urgency of addressing them before reaching a perceived "rock bottom"; her most insane college experiences; the radical ideologies pushed by professors, including encounters with a nonbinary professor and a classmate who identified as a cat; the indoctrination and lack of intellectual diversity in academia; the academic consequences of refusing to conform to certain narratives; gender identity in sports; why liberals are waking up to the border crisis and suddenly realizing that building a wall at the southern border wasn’t a bad idea; the perception of Israel and its significance in countering the narrative of the "bad guys" prevailing; how groups manipulate narratives to unite against perceived oppressors; why she thinks civil unrest in the U.S. is likely; her evolving view on guns for personal safety; whether one should move out of a blue state or stay to fight for a better future; and much more.
