Summary

Ever wondered what it is like going from a motorhome to a fifth wheel? We have been experiencing just that for the past five weeks and we're ready to share all, what surprised us, what we like, and what we don't like. For the past 10 years, Jennifer and I have been traveling exclusively in motorhomes - Class B campervans, Class B+ big campervans, and Class C small motorhomes. But in early May, we bought a 32 1/2 foot Arcadia Fifth Wheel and have now put about 1,000 miles on it, camping across four states. We talk about that experience and answer your RV Lifestyle questions and share some tips in this week's Episode #399 of the Podcast.

0:19.9	Hello, everybody. I'm Mike Wendland, and this is my lifelong traveling companion and my bride, Jennifer.
0:26.6	And we are coming to you this week from Kentucky Lake.
0:31.6	We are in mid-Tennessee, about 90 minutes west of Nashville, in one of the most beautiful areas of the south.
0:41.5	The Tennessee River was dammed up in Kentucky, and it formed this massive, what they call it, Kentucky Lake.
0:51.1	This massive lake that is part of the Great Loop from the Great Lakes to the
0:56.1	Gulf of Mexico. You can literally go anywhere in the world right out there in that water.
1:01.0	And we are here to check out a new RV land development called Paradise Landing. They're having
1:08.1	a big sale on June 25th. And we'll have a video saturday uh but
1:13.8	the unique thing is these are RV lots that you own 100% ownership you own there right on
1:22.1	the kentucky lake i mean we can put a dock in you can uh put a little, some of, we've seen a couple of them.
1:28.4	There's like a little swimming platform in as well.
1:31.9	And we're going to show you all about it to be in that video.
1:34.2	We literally just got here.
1:35.9	So that's all we can say about it, except the folks here are going to let us stay for the week.
1:42.3	So we're going to have a lot of fun.
1:43.6	We'll shoot a video and probably do do some more work some regular work and kind of stretch out this
1:50.7	mooch-stocking stay as long as we can yeah this is absolutely wonderful it's peaceful it's
1:57.6	quiet we can hear the birds we have electricity and water so we can enjoy those
2:04.6	luxuries. You're probably here in our air conditioner right now. Temperatures is about 86 degrees.
