Easter is one of those seasons that carries with it a lot of very old and very well-loved hymns.

Some of them are new, to be fair, but the church has been singing about Christ's resurrection for its entire

existence. Welcome back to Issues, Et cetera. I'm Todd Wilkin. We want your answer to the question.

Jesus Christ is risen today because it's our church's processional hymn each Easter.

Sheila says the words and melody work together quite nicely to proclaim our risen Savior.
