All right. So today I wanted to talk about this concept that I know I've spoken about it before on the podcast,

but I wanted to go more in depth with it on this episode because I've been noticing that it

has sort of been coming up in several conversations that I've been having with artists in

growth studio and also in my private coaching practice. And that is this idea

that what happens on your canvas is a direct reflection of what's happening in your mind.

And before we move past that, I want to tell you exactly what I mean by that. And I want to show you some of the ways that I have

seen it up, not just literally on your canvas, but in the other places of your art practice. So I'm

going to talk a little bit first about how this shows up actually on your canvas. And then I'm going to

share some stories with you about how it shows up actually on your canvas and then I'm going to share some stories with you about how

it shows up in other ways like in how it shows up when we are showing our work and how it shows up

when um we're going to maybe talk to a gallery or send some information out to a gallery.

So I see it literally during critiques that what's happening on your canvas is a direct

reflection of what's happening on your mind and it's also in other places too.

So when I say that the canvas is a direct reflection of what's happening in your mind,

what I'm not saying is that technique doesn't matter because it does.
