That mission continued with agencies such as Radio Free Europe and Radio Free Asia.

But now the Trump administration has dismantled BOA's parent organization, put all of its employees on leave, and ended federal funding for independent

media agencies.

Nick Schifrin reports on a decision that ends a long bipartisan tradition.
