Why are so many Republicans embracing quack science?

That's the title of my op-ed today at HarbinReport.com.

Just a couple of recent examples, Rand Paul was shocked this week when he asked the CEO of

Moderna if more people got heart inflammation, I guess it is what it is at Pericarditis, the

lining of the heart, the sack that surrounds the heart. If more people got that from the vaccines

than from COVID, thinking that he was going to get this guy to confess, right?

And the president of Moderna said, no, you're more likely to get heart inflammation from COVID than

from the vaccines. Rand Paul was just shocked. Republicans in Missouri just passed legislation

outlawing an employer's ability to fire workers who refuse to take a vaccine.

Republicans in a dozen state legislatures so far have put forward licensing legislation

around medical boards, preventing medical licensing boards from punishing doctors or nurses

who prescribe hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin for COVID. In fact, this is now the law in

North Dakota and Tennessee that you may not pull a doctor's license if somebody presents with

COVID and they give them Ivermectin. In Florida, Ron DeSantis hired a medical school graduate who
