Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing a series that I started just yesterday talking about what is truth.

I tell you this establishes everything.

There has to be a plumb line. There has to be an absolute truth in order for people to prosper.

And I just gave an introduction to this yesterday, but the Word of God is truth.

Jesus said this in John chapter 17, verse 17, sanctify them through that truth.

That truth, that Word is truth. And then in John chapter 8, verse 32, he says,

you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

But it's only the truth you know that makes you free.

What you don't know, the truths that you don't know are how Satan is gaining access to us.

And I'll be explaining this more as we go through this series.

But in John chapter 8, verse 44, Jesus said that Satan is the father of all lives.

Satan is the father of all lives. God is the God of truth.

And so this is a conflict between God, truth, and lies the devil.

And it really can be boiled down. If you just keep peeling back the layers, this is what everything comes down to.

And there has to be some standard of truth.

You know, I've used this example before. I think I got this from Bob McEwan, if I'm not mistaken, Senator Bob McEwan.
