his very real presence in your life. Well, if you listen often enough, you know every month

we have our good friend, Dan Bennett, on the show, for what we've in the past called a faith

perspective from the Hill. As you know, in the last several months, Dan stepped away from his

role on the Hill and now serves the kingdom in a completely different way. So going forward each month when Tham joins us,

we're going to touch on what is happening in the news, but with an emphasis on viewing life through a

redemptive lens. How are we to discern the times? What are we to do? What are we to know? How are we to

pray? And what can we physically do to help our communities flourish? I love these questions.

First, I want to bring a personal disclaimer to

you before today's show. These conversations are always a little challenging for me, not because of

then. He's just my best bud, and I can't think of anybody that I trust more to address these topics.

But it's just such a polarizing day. And especially right now, I've taken a recent break from the news cycle.

My brother is in the hospital. We put my dog Memphis down on Saturday. I'm still grieving that.

I'm buried under task lists as we're getting ready to launch my new book. And I just had another

portal open up in my email, dumping 6,000 emails into mixing in all of these really important deadline emails

with a bunch of other junk emails. And I mean, I'm feeling the press. So I just needed to take a

break. So I'm a little clueless. I'm just going to be honest. But Thane isn't clueless. So we're

going to go along today and learn what that. What God wants us to know through the news and let Thand really unpack it
