Hi everyone this is Melanie Yazzi co-host of Red Power Hour coming to you with a really exciting opportunity and an announcement.

Red Media is hiring we're hiring an operations director. We're seeking someone to join our growing team of indigenous media experts.

Red Media, of course, is a new media and press project that centers indigenous intelligence

in all its forms.

We produce content according to indigenous intellectual traditions, not those imposed upon us by settler culture.

We believe in indigenous abundance and aim to cultivate a generation of indigenous voices by providing them a platform they may not otherwise have.

The operations director will oversee the day-to-day operations of Red Media.

They will be in charge of the organization's legal and policy compliance, fiscal management,

data management, strategic planning, and all aspects of human resources.

Because Red Media is a new organization, the Operations Director capacity. The operations director will

be indispensable to helping us conceptualize, build, and normalize the

organization's financial and operational capacity. The operations director will

collaborate directly and regularly with the marketing director and the program director, which happened to be Justin Teva and Kylie Guy, who are two of our comrades who joined us many times on Red Power Hour.

with the editorial collective,

which is headed up by two more of our Red Nation

podcast hosts, Uahuakeo Milay and Nick Estes,

to implement Red Media's vision.

This is a remote full-time position that requires occasional travel.

And I just wanted to highlight this last piece because all of us who work with Red Media were all over Turtle Island and so we're very independent, right?

We set our own hours, it's quite flexible.
