wonderfully phony but I love that. Jay Warner Wallace is a he's a cold case homicide detective he's retired

from that business but he's now one of the most popular national speakers

and best-selling authors and he is a senior fellow at the Colson Center for Christian

worldview and also an adjunct professor of apologetics that Biola and his

resume goes on and on but he's been on the show a number of times so we'll just get right to the point

and welcome him aboard. Jim welcome. Hey thanks for having me I

appreciate you always so kind of me. Yeah well thank you you you know the

the preaching and teaching of God reveals not only his nature but his character and the gospel is good it's

real and it's true and that's why people should believe it. But having said that

and this is my opening statement then I'm not going to talk again, is so many influences

come into a person's life.

Could it be their family of origin, what they're told, the youth group they go to, what they're

asked to believe and all that, but are they believing what's true?
