Honorable Peter Rollins as well here with us today on this very special episode, which is all

about the ick. Now, I don't know if you guys are

familiar with what the ick is. So I will read what it is from the top entry of one of the

more scholarly sources that we have here, which is urban dictionary.com. So if you go urban dictionary.com, the ick says,

you could be on the chirps with a guy or girl. Everything seems to be going fine. You think you

like them, but then you suddenly catch, uh-oh, the ick. From then on, you can't look at the person

in the same way. You just progressively get more and more turned off by them, weirdly, and maybe

for no reason in particular grossed out by

them you'll cringe at the thought of you and them together nothing will be the same you won't be

able to do it any longer and eventually have to cut it off ideology courtesy of olivia from love island

um so i guess that's from love island um So I suggested this for a couple reasons.

One is I love the term.

I like what it sounds like.

And I like how clearly what it means is evident right away.

But I also am fascinated by the switch-like part of immediately going,

I no longer like this person and there's no coming back from it. Like that kind of scales fall

off the eyes. Something happened. And now I have the ick. So yeah. What do you make of that,

either on the receiving end or the giving end and you do not have to mention if you don't want

but just curious yeah no i i've probably experienced it on both sides like most people um

i haven't i think i had heard of the term when you mentioned it, but I don't know if I'd heard
