Now if you've ever gone to a corporate event, oftentimes shenanigans can happen to corporate events.

As far as you're traveling maybe or maybe you're just taking over a Marriott ballroom for a weekend or whatever the deal is.

People are sleeping in hotels, but you go to an event and you

know things do happen.

This is not what anyone expected.

A party for employees of a software company called Vistics. The entire software party ended in tragedy when the

company CEO was killed and its president was seriously injured. Now this was obviously a freak accident.

There were 700 people that were in attendance from Vistec at this party in India to

celebrate Asia's 25th anniversary when the CEO Sanjay Shah of Chicago and President

Raju Datla were lifted above the crowd in an iron cage during an aerial show for the crowd.

Okay. So they were either falling, being lowered down onto the stage.

Like a couple of lions?

No, yeah, basically, but that was their entrance. They were on a platform.

You're typical tech CEO, your entrance must be grand. It must compete with KISS or Cirque du Soleil.

You can't just walk onto a freaking stage stand at the podium and talk.

So wires holding the cage suddenly snapped, sitting them in tumbling 20 feet, but the

surface below was a concrete stage.

Shah who founded Vistex in 1999, he died at a hospital,

and Dattler was still reported to be in critical condition.
