Summary

There are many scientists that are re-examining the changes we are seeing in the climate - what are the causes and what are the effects. Geologist Gregory Wrightstone is one of those scientists and in this discussion he examines not only the science and facts behind what is happening but the practical implications of regulations, restrictions, and rules being created by our government. Given the significant effects of such actions, this debate is immensely important.

Whether it's the normal, the abnormal, or the paranormal, you're in the right place.

Let's go beyond reality.

Welcome to the show and welcome to a Monday.

Great to have everybody here as the nation.

Good parts of it anyway are dealing with the severity of winter

0:22.7

over the weekend, including us here, you know, but we're used to it, kind of, because winter is

0:38.3

we're going to be hit with like two feet of snow, they're saying. And that'll just go on the piles

0:42.9

that are already out there because they're deep. The sidewalk, you know, you're walking down

0:49.2

the sidewalks and the banks, snow banks are, you know, hip high already. And we're not Alaska.

0:54.7

We're just upstate New York.

0:55.8

But, man, you know, winter's tough.

0:57.9

I keep looking south and thinking, wow, that's the thing to do.

1:02.2

But, you know, you have your roots someplace.

1:05.1

It makes it a little difficult to do anything about that.

1:07.4

Anyway, I hope you're all staying safe and warm.

1:10.2

I know there are a lot of people in Texas

1:12.4

that aren't able to stay warm. Texas got hit particularly hard with this storm because of,

1:18.8

you know, they're south, far enough south that a lot of this turns to ice instead of just

1:24.9

remaining snow. And what it has done is very scary, but it's very appropriate for the conversation we're about to have tonight.
