In John 15, Jesus says,

I'm the vine, you are the branches,

whoever abides in me,

and I in him,

it is that bears much fruit,

and apart from me, you can do nothing.

So I was just wondering, what abiding kind of theologically, and then how do I do that

practically?

Excellent question, my friend.

And there's, I think, evidence throughout the gospel of John as well as in his first

epistle, because that language of abiding is something that you see again and again and

again in particular, Jarison, in John's writings.
