Oh man, grateful to have you on.

Today I want to tap you for some wisdom.

You're a man who is an apologist, an evangelist, a preacher, a teacher.

I'd call you a theologian, you're an educated man, a godly man.

And so I want to talk to you about the gift of tongues.

It's an area that I know you're not unfamiliar with.

We get a lot of questions here at FTG about it.

And in my former days I used to speak in tongues and do a lot of that and again you're

no stranger to the topic.

So I want to dig in with you and I want to help our audience understand a few things.

We're going to cover what the Bible says the gift of tongues was and then I want you

to help us understand are the tongues that people typically speak in today the same as

the New Testament gift and then if someone were to speak in tongues today, what would even

have to happen if it were to be remotely identifiable as the gift of tongues.

So I want to make all that really clear.

So people understand what the gift of tongues is and isn't.
