Welcome back everybody. So I've got a little treat for you today. Recently I did a

little bit of training all about 10 different ways how you can get ready for

the slow season and I thought well what better to do then to chop these tips up

and share it into the daily podcast because they are so actionable and things

that you can be doing right now. In today's episode is a little segment of that.

Now depending on what you're listening to you can go back or go forward to find

out the episode that suits you best but this is all me helping you about

bookings in the slow season so make sure you've got a paper to hand and get ready

to take action. Play around with minimum stays. Now again I know there's a lot of

people in the room who have very strict on the amount of stays nights that

some a guest has to stay. In the summer you can get away with it because there

is such a high demand but in the slow season not so much. So I'm not going to

say everybody go for a one next day or everybody drop down to a two next day what

I'm asking is it you play around with it. So don't be strict and structured and

you know rigid and not willing to to amend play around with it and if you are

going to go for a one night stay don't keep the same rate. So if you're going

to offer a one night stay and you offer a base rate of a hundred a pound a

night anybody who's going to book a one night stay add on a little bit extra

maybe make it 110 110 120 130 to cover the extra cleaning costs and then if they

soon as they book for two nights and the price that's to adjust more to what

the base rate is et cetera and et cetera. So play around with it see what
