Or maybe like me, he came into your algorithm recently when a Protestant woman named Sarah

came to him on the streets in Athens storm-trooping him with evangelism. Father Seraphim was so

kind and patient and knowledgeable and loving towards her and his responses. It really caught my

attention and I know many others. And as he says in the recap of his video on YouTube, it's quite possible this viral video may cause many people to come to the church.

And in one way, Sarah may become an unwitting apostle.

And if we pray for her every day, may she also inherit the kingdom.

And Father Sarah from Holland, thank you for coming on the show. Welcome. Thank you. I'm glad to be here. I'm excited to talk to you. So can we dive right in to talk about your little viral video just right away? Anything you want to do? All right, because I'm a new, or we were just discussing, I'm a new Orthodox Christian. I was just, as everybody knows on the show, I was just baptized and chrismated July 22nd. And I came out of a short stint in Protestantism. And I didn't even know I was in it at the time. And this woman, Sarah, who came up to you while you were in Athens, Greece, she's a Protestant woman, and she came at you with a lot of questions. Do you speak English? How do? Can I ask your question? You can. You might not get the right answer, but I'm right. Because you're a priest, yes? Yes. Can I ask you? Like, what religion? Eastern Orthodox. Okay, can I ask you about it? Can I ask you about your religion? Okay, what do you want to know? Well, I mean, like, first of all, like, who's Jesus? Like, who do you say Jesus is? Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. And you believe that He's God himself? Well, Jesus is God and man. Yeah, I agree. So it's not just God, he's also man. At one point, before all things, he was only God. Right? Right. I agree,

yeah. Only begotten to the Father. At the incarnation of the Virgin Mary, he is now God and man, perfectly God,

perfectly man, two natures in one person.

Right, okay. So can I ask you then, according to your religion, like what do I have to do in order to be saved?

Well, you should be believed, be baptized, live a life of repentance, an effort to obtain your purpose in life.

So I have to do works.

You would call them, some people would call them works.

I would call them, do you have children?

Yeah.

Do you do works by taking care of your children?

Well, my children don't have to work in order to earn my love. It just comes naturally. But do you do things for them because you love them? Yeah, but there's a difference between them doing things for me in order to say, like, for me to be their mom. Yeah. And instead of me doing stuff for them as their mother. So like god see the thing is Jesus was God you said God yeah of course and so Jesus is God in the flesh and so when he came down on the

cross and suffered and died for us right he did the work for us and he tells us in Ephesians 2 8
