Welcome on to Week 2 of Hollinger and Duncan. We have much to discuss here on this first week.

We want to talk about some of the rookies. We want to talk about the way the game is looking with the new rules.

And maybe talk about some surprise teams, whether they're for real.

John also went to check out the new operation of overtime elite, which I am desperately

curious to hear about. And of course, we must rule a team out of the playoffs, sadly.

Oh, yes. Yes, I'd forgotten about this.

However, are we going to find a team? I wonder who will pick.

Okay.

Well, it might be the last time we talk about them all year.

So, well, there is actually one positive thing to talk about with the as yet unnamed

team that I think we will both be ruling out of the playoffs.

Yes, that is.

But I want to talk to you first about this overtime elite thing, actually, because I had big

questions about how it was going to work.

Can you just kind of summarize what it is for those who don't know?

Sure.

Overtime Elite is basically building an alternative to playing in the G League or playing in the

NCAA for 16 to 18-year-old prospects,

it's a way for them to get paid and prepare themselves for a career in basketball.

And they've set up their entire operation out of Atlanta where I live.

So it was easy for me to go down there this weekend to their

pro day. It was interesting because the scouts I talked to kind of when we were waiting there to go in
