On today's program, Joyce will be teaching from her series, What is Love? In our world today,

we hear the word love used so freely. We love food or we love pets. But what is real love?

Joyce helps answer this question as we learn from the Bible what real love is.

We'll also be encouraged to put love into action, especially with those people in our lives

who may be difficult to show love to.

God's love never fails, and because he loves us, we can choose to love others.

Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Okay, we've been talking about the different aspects of love, and, you know, there's

about nine of them, and I thought I was going to run out of material, and I've only done two.

Love is patient, love is kind.

I'm going to try two more this afternoon.

I'm going to try to do pride and selfishness.

We'll see.

I'm trying to get the point across that the most important thing for us to focus on is love.

Timothy said the whole purpose of all of his teaching and instruction was to get people

to love one another out of a pure heart with a pure conscience. And if I can just let God use

me to help you understand the importance of love and how important it is to forgive people.

I would say that that's one of the most beautiful aspects of love.

And I'll tell you something, we are privileged to have the grace of God on us to be able to forgive people and not have to be full of hatred and

bitterness and resentment and offense. The people that you need to forgive may not deserve

your forgiveness. We don't deserve God's forgiveness. My father didn't deserve my
