Dominic Legge, O.P., is the Director of the Thomistic Institute and an Assistant Professor in systematic theology at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, a Ph.L. from the School of Philosophy of the Catholic University of America, and a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the University of Fribourg. He entered the Order of Preachers in 2001 and was ordained a priest in 2007. He practiced law for several years as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice before becoming a Dominican.

1:34.7	what is Aquinas doing here and what are we trying to learn from him as we study this?
1:42.1	So in the prologue to the primus acundi, Aquinas is saying he starts with the image of
1:47.6	God and he says we've treated God. Now let's look at the image of God, that is the human being
1:55.6	who has powers of intellect and will that is able to know and love and thus direct his actions
2:05.2	towards an end. And then in question one, the prolog to question one is saying,
2:13.5	we now need to consider the last end and then the means by which we get to the end.
