Last week, these videos started popping up on Twitter, showing how protesters are being

policed in Portland, Oregon.

These images stand out because they're just so different from videos of police brutality

that you might have seen a few weeks back.

In the first few days, after George Floyd was killed.

These aren't videos of cops in riot gear, holding a line.

The law enforcement officers you see, they're almost silent.

Their faces are completely covered.

They swoop out of vans towards small groups of pedestrians and seem to pick people to

entertain at random.

Jonathan Levinson is a reporter at Oregon Public Broadcasting.

They asked him to walk me through one of these clips.

It was shot downtown.

Looks like it could be any urban street corner.

Until the guys in Desert Camo roll up.

The TV and is parked across the street.

Two officers, camouflage, walk up, grab a guy, and they're walking them back to the

minute and put them in and drive off.

While they're doing that, the person filming is saying, who are you?

Identify yourself?

The guy who they're grabbing is saying, I haven't done anything wrong.

What's your name?
