Hey, everybody. I want you all to take advantage of the incredible interest rates that a

Lyon Credit Union is currently offering 4.5% for a three-month certificate, 4.75% for a six-month

certificate. But best of all, in my opinion, is 5% for a one-year certificate of deposit.

As we get ready for season two of our podcast, we wanted to share some of the best episodes from

0:47.2

season one. We hope you enjoy listening. The other day I had the great good fortune to be able to sit

0:56.8

down one on one with seven women who survived abusive relationships. And what was so fascinating to

1:34.8

all of these things. And then as soon as she moved in with him, everything started to change.

First thing that started to happen to each one of these women is that the man she was living with

1:46.1

started to cut her off from all of her friends as well as her family. He did not want her to have

1:53.2

any contact with them whatsoever. So she really had nobody that she could talk to about what was

2:00.6

going on in her life. And what was so really amazing to me is that they were able to recognize

2:09.2

physical abuse. Oh, they were able to recognize emotional and verbal abuse and psychological abuse.

2:18.4

But none of them were able to recognize that they were also all in a financially abusive

2:28.0

relationship. And I have to tell you, I was shocked at that. Now, these women were listening to each

2:34.8

of them being interviewed by me. And one by one during these sessions, they all started to realize

2:43.2

that, oh my God, I was also financially abused. And when I say financially abused, here's what I
