Fernando Mendoza is going to be the number one pick to the Las Vegas Raiders.

He gets to go play with Brock Bowers, Ashton Genty.

He gets to be coached by Clint Kubiak, who just won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

How excited should we be for this player for fantasy football?

Clearly a winner.

We just saw that at Indiana.

First year there, extremely successful offensively there.

One of the top 10 offenses that we've seen over the past five to 10 years at the collegiate level.

And Mendoza was a huge part of that, of course.

We also saw him make some heroic plays. We know he has the size, 6-5-220, 6-4-220, and we saw some of the scrambling and stuff. So I want to dig into all that today, because that's what matters for fantasy in terms of upside. If you look at some of the best producers for fantasy, it's Josh Allen, it's Lamar Jackson, even Patrick Mahomes, some of these seasons, you know, he's giving rushing upside.

Really the only players who are cracking that top five of the QB position that aren't giving some rushing upside are doing so through like massive, massive volume and passing touchdown numbers.

Maybe it's Joe Burrow, Staff or Dak Prescott, depending on the year. Like that, that type of profile can get

there. But, you know, the much clearer path to getting there is through these rushing

quarterbacks, Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hertz. So where does Fernando Mendoza fit among those players, recent prospects?

Where does Fernando Mendoza fit relative to like Drake May, other quarterbacks who have been drafted?

So Mendoza, here's the profile.

He spent three seasons at Cal, two seasons at Indiana. If you can see,

if you're watching on the screen on YouTube, really, really just minuscule, 8% off target rate

at Indiana this past year. Really successful across the board, as a rusher, as a passer,

for sure. Some scramble rate data we're going to dig into today.
