Since 2006, I have hit the publish button on my blog over 2,500 times.

I've sent thousands of emails to my newsletter list.

I've poured my heart into hundreds of thousands of followers in social media posts across

several platforms.

For a lot of years, writing was my exclusive way of communicating with my audience.

I knew my ability to write was an asset as a business owner.

And like my dad always said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But I have to say, when I began experimenting with using my voice online, I realized that

there was something powerful about connecting with people in this way.

So case in point, here we are on the podcast.

And you can hear inflections in my voice that transcends words on a screen.

At events when I'm standing on a stage, you'll hear the passion I have for helping business

owners build a life and business they love.

When you hear me chat during live videos, you'll hear the real me.

The real time unfiltered, tell it like it is version of myself that just, you know, audio

can't edit that out.

And now I found the same thing to be true as I regularly host rooms on Clubhouse.

Now before you all think I'm going to share like a coming out story, like a popper coming

out at a debutante ball and having a Cinderella moment on Clubhouse.

Yo, this ain't that story.

I have to tell you that my first experience on Clubhouse was awful.
