We're going to be talking about something Catholics talk about all the time, Catholic guilt.

That's right. We're going to look at the strange phenomenon known specifically to Catholics as Catholic guilt

You know, Catholics get a bad rap that we're always so filled with guilt,

but not after we say,

That's definitely a great topic, yeah, man, because all of us have experienced it, you

know, the guilt and shame that comes with sin, and what Christ does meeting the human heart

that is suffering these realities, and why we turn from a sense of, you know, my fault,

my fault, my most grievous fault, you know, to a point of what Christ accomplishes in

the soul when we truly repent and reconcile with the Father's love.

So, what is Catholic guilt?

I mean, this saying's been around for years, right, you know, I think particularly,

you know, and all of us have Irish, you know, ancestry, particularly with the Irish thing,

you know, but Catholic guilt, I think, is a very unique phenomenon where we always feel

maybe unworthy, maybe we always feel like we're participating directly hammering the nails

into Jesus, and we're making Mary cry, and that the reason that the world's fallen

in part is because our own sins, right?
