John 159, Jesus says,

As the Father loved me, I also have loved you.

Abide in my love.

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love just as I have kept my Father's

commandments and abide in His love.

These things I have spoken to you that my joy may remain in you and that your joy may be full.

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this than to lay down one's life for his friends.

You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.

So I've been thinking about this scripture a lot recently, particularly John 1513, where he says,

greater love has no one than this than to lay down one's life for his friends.

Because I've been thinking a lot about love and what love truly is, specifically the idea of self-love because I come from the

backdrop of new age spiritualism if you know my testimony you know what that journey looks

like and how a large part of that is all encompassing of obviously self, right?

Self pleasure and, you know, divinity is your birthright.

You know, I am love.

I receive love.

I deserve love.
