So many suggestions here on the greatest defensive duos, two of the greatest players together

on one team in NFL history, which is what may be possible in Los Angeles if Aaron

Donald returns and joins Miles Garrett on defense.

But there's no doubt that Max got the one that is comparable, and that would be Ray

Lewis, Ed Reed on the same defense for the Ravens. I mentioned Paige and Eller and Mienjo Green and either Lambert or Ham.

Several of you mentioned that, but this from Earl, Earl writes, Kevin, you got the two

best of the 70s, but you missed the two others from that era that are right there.

Randy White, Too Tall Jones,

and Deacon Jones, Merlin Olson. Okay, Jones Olson is part of the fearsome for some. That's a 60s thing,

not a 70s thing. That's before my time. It doesn't mean that it's not the right answer. I get it,

though. I know how dominant Deacon

Jones was. I mean, Deacon Jones, for people of a certain age, they will say that Deacon Jones was,

you know, Reggie Wright, White, and Lawrence Taylor and, you know, Miles Garrett before any of these

guys were. And the Sack stat wasn't something that was kept back then.

And Merlin Olson was, you know, a Hall of Famer as well, and they played together on the same

defensive line. Page, you know, Alan Page was an NFL MVP. I believe I have this right,

that L.T, Lawrence Taylor, and Alan Page are the only two defensive players to

ever be named NFL MVP. Look that up for me, Max. I'm pretty sure that's true. Going back to

the first year where Jim Brown, I think, was the first named NFL MVP, but I think Alan Page

and Lawrence Taylor are the only two that were ever
