Well, we are moving forward into December, and I've got to take a little quick break.

I think we'll take a one-week break from our series we're doing on the reliability of the Bible because as we're kind of

screaming up on Christmas, I'd like to talk a little bit about what difference the Christian faith

has made in the history of the world a little bit and also in the history of our country as we kind

of think about the impact that we as Christians can have and let's face it as we get to this holiday season

we see all around us that the debate rages on whether or not we should have any public

demonstration of Christmas if Christmas should be stripped completely of its religious connotations

of its meaning in terms of the faith that all of us

hold as Christians. And as we see this shift, which has been going on for generations, let's face it,

from Christ to Santa Claus, you definitely get a sense. And Stacey Lee did a great job posting

on our blog this week. Thank you, Stacey, for posting this wonderful little video comparing Santa Claus with Jesus.

And we really see our culture, of course, has been moving in this direction for some time.
