This is Seahawkers What If.

I'm your host, Brandon Shultz, and I am joined by a couple of my good buddies.

As we are getting into Seahawkers What If, the most unique Seahawks preview show in the multiverse, I am filling in for Clinton Bonner this week. But, you know, it's been a while. And I know how to do this thing. How you doing, Phil? I'm doing really well. Usually if Adam's on here, he was filling in for you or maybe Clinton occasionally. Now you're filling in for Clinton. So I'm going to be all kinds of confused, but I'll try my best to see if I can still host this thing. Adam, of course, joining us as usual, taking over for me this year on Seahawkers. What If? And, you know, maybe we'll just rotate this thing. Hey, if this goes real well for all of us, maybe we just kick Clinton off the show and we do it the three of us from here on out.

Well, first off, he knows what he did. So if he is kicked off permanently, he deserves it. No, just kidding. But with that said, look, in filling in for you this year, Brandon, I'm not sure that it's been an improvement. So if we need to kick anybody off, it might be me.

But it's going to be interesting to see what everybody's opinion is going into this commander's game,

Mr. Phil, because maybe not the matchup we thought it was going to be when we looked at that

schedule early in the season and we're counting wins and losses like stupid people.

This is maybe not the monster we thought it was going to be.

Yeah, when they started the season and you were trying to guess who would have the winning

record when these teams faced if you had to say only one did, I think a lot more people

would have said the commanders than the Seahawks around the nation.

Maybe not us Seahawk fans, but even some of us as well, I don't think it was anticipated

that they would look quite as shaky as they do.

It's an interesting word that you chose, but shaky is probably the better one.

Yes.

Well, let's get to our, what the, most of us watch Monday night football with the commanders

and chiefs probably, or a lot of us did.

So we kind of know what that game had in store.

But I did throw up the DVOA rankings after the game.

Their defense is 18th by DVOA. They look worse in person. Their passing defense is at bottom third, 23rd. Their run defense just about into the top third is 12th. They look old and slow in the middle if I was going to say one thing that stands out about their defense. Their corners weren't part. Ouch, Phil. Is this a shot at Bobby?

Well, they're younger than me, so I can say old and still know that it's whatever the slam is, it's not as much of a slam as it is to me because I am well on the other side of my

peak.
