Happy New Year. Welcome to 2025 here on Friends from Work. This is an official no prep episode.

So, hi, how are you?

I was, well, I was sitting there.

It's been long enough where we haven't done our intro spiel.

And I know that for the longest time, the tagline was, I guess still is.

Like Friends from Work and unofficial Marvel podcast.

And then you led with official.

And I was like, wow, things are changing in 2025 more than I thought.

Official, no prep.

It does make me think about, I actually went back and listened to our bold predictions episode from last year because we're going to be doing bold predictions again this year. And I like to follow up. Yeah. And we've talked about this, but I don't know how often you go back and listen to our podcast, but it's always funny to kind of listen like what was going on at the time. Yeah. And if you go way back, just how different our whole spiel seems now versus

then.

But I, uh, I was thinking this year it would be fun, not, I'm excited for our bold predictions

for 2025.

I'm also thinking it could be fun to, to forecast things that we would just like to see

out of some of the projects.

Like I feel like there are so many, you know, it's like at the end of the year, often,

we will wind up reflecting on things that we liked and things that weren't necessarily what we

wanted. But I don't know that we necessarily get to kind of like vision cast in quite the same way.

So I think that might be a fun thing to throw in just as an addendum to the bold predictions.

Let's do that. We'll catch people up on last year's predictions. How well did we do?

Then we can do three bold predictions that we think will happen. And then maybe at the end,

we do a couple just, and by the way, I would like to see this, just to see if it happens.
