I've wondered over the last week or two if this coronavirus, now just follow me here for a second, okay?

I know it's inconvenient.

You can't go and do.

You can't get to Mass on Sunday.

You can't go have a meal at a restaurant with your friends.

You can't, in all the things you can't do. We are enforced in a kind

of hunker down mode. And so I'm just going to put this out there. We'll see. I wonder in prayer

and thinking about these things, if this is not a great gift to you and to me right now,

seems like a massive inconvenience. Seems like, oh, no, I don't want to get sick, and none of us

does, and oh, no, I don't want to run out of toilet paper, and none of us does, and we don't want

to run out of food, and it's boring being at home. Try this on for size. What if what you and I are going through right now

that seems so inconvenient is a gift from God of time to be quiet and at peace and to pray

and to really get on track with God because something worse is

coming down the road. Think about that. It might be that you'll look back at some point in the

future and say, oh, I'm so glad I had that time when I was

grounded by the government that said I couldn't go out and I had to stay home. I'm so glad I had

that time because I was able to really get spiritually on track. I was able to start praying

the rosary again. I was receiving indulgences as a result of participating with Mass.

Don't forget, mass every day, relevant radio, live streamed.

There's no excuse not to participate, if you can, noon central, 1 p.m. Eastern time.

So I don't know.
