and a lot of it's already been covered already, but one of the questions that I still have that I feel went unanswered is why exactly did Michael Jordan retire after 1998?

Because he said on the last episode that he believed he was at his peak that

between whatever athleticism that he still had and the level of craftsmanship

that he had developed in his game between those things that he thought he could have led the Bulls to a

seventh championship but instead when the Bulls rebuilt he retired and I don't

know why he didn't just go play somewhere else because he could have gone anywhere

he's Michael Jordan and I don't feel like the documentary or

MJ did a good job explaining why he didn't just relocate.

I don't think relocation was ever an option for Jordan.

I think the idea of Jordan playing his whole career in Chicago was so important and obviously it changed a few years later when he came

at a retirement to play for the Washington Wizards after being a part owner of the team.

And so I think that he just felt like it was necessary for him to retain that the integrity of that lasting image of that legacy of playing for Chicago throughout his whole career and being able to win six championships and six attempts and things of that story.

I feel like as much as he's willing to, well as much as he says right now that he thinks a seventh championship would be in the cards
