We've done it once before about what if somebody other than Ryan Day was hired to succeed Urban Meyer and we're doing it again about the

2018 quarterback battle when Duane Haskins beat out Joe Burrow and Joe Burrow transferred to LSU.

What if Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes had picked Joe Burrow?

What would have meant for Ohio State in 2018 and 2019?

What would have meant for the future of Ohio State quarterback recruiting?

Steven, is this a logical one for us to be pursuing as our second Buckeye fly effect?

I mean, yeah, honestly, it's just, it's going to get first of all, everyone's interested in this is the number one question around Ohio State

for the last three or four years is what would have happened if Joe Burrow would have won the starting job.

And there's just a lot of elements that kind of fall from that this like a butterfly flag.

There's a lot that comes off of that recruiting standpoint to everything else.

It's based on butterfly effect right that the butterfly flaps its wings and it changes everything.

Buckeye fly effect is hard to say.

For ease of pronunciation, we should have named it something else, but we're down the road.

I like the name and theory. So we're sorry if we stumble over it during the course of this.

At best, when we have texts and emails about this at best, I call it Buckeye fly effect because I'm hoping somebody trips up over.

I'm starting to plant that seed in the back of someone's head to get us an explicit rating on accident.

Nathan, this idea, right, this happened before you were on the beat, but the idea that like, hey, Ohio State had a quarterback battle and the winner went on to be a first round pick.

And the loser went on to win the highest in the national title and be the overall number one pick.
