What do you tell people when you're at

like a social function and someone asks you what you do for a living? I usually start with

podcast producer. And if they ask for more info, my embarrassment grows. Yeah, that could be a nice

way to shut the conversation down

as podcast producer and nobody wants any further information after that, right? Yeah, they're like,

oh, so you're unhoused. Okay, I see. If they say something like, oh, my grandson listens to podcasts,

you know, the conversation ends right there.
