I'm lifting WayofM. Here's what's going on today. The destruction left from

Hurricane Ian will leave many fordians in a state of rebuilding I mean for months

if not years to come. Yeah and in these instances it's understandable for each to

think of their own issues but that wasn't the case for a handful of locals who

came out to help with operation Noah's Ark. Nice. That even sounds cool. Doesn't

it? Well the destination was Malama Manu Sanctuary in Pine Island Florida. Do

you know where that is? No actually I don't. Well it isn't island. Yeah thank you.

All the coast of Florida. I guess you didn't know that. But it's also home to

rare and exotic birds like McCaws, Cockatoo's and the King Parrot. Which I

didn't even know was a thing. But they were all stranded on this island and

a need of rescue because the birds rely on food donated by wildlife

officials and with the hurricane taking down the main bridge to the island

trucks being there to deliver the food it was just impossible. Okay so okay so

it is a sanctuary. Yes a bird sanctuary. Because I was thinking if it's not a

sanctuary those are dumb birds because like they could fly from the island like

the road is out. They'll never get free like okay they're birds. Okay so
