I just came back from Israel, and it's an unusual time because the feast of Purim is about to take

place. And man, Perim deals with Iran, believe it or not. It deals with Persia. It deals with the

plot of Haman. And that the name Perim is really about the casting of Lodz. Do you know that

Haman, who arises suddenly as the enemy of the Jews, wants to annihilate all the Jews,

he summons the Prince of Persia, a dark demonic entity to inspire him to find the date to kill the Jews.

And this is called the casting of the lots.

And he cast the lots seeking an occult timing.

And the Prince of Persia picked, boom, the 13th of Adar, a certain day.

Now Esther fast and prays.

Mordecai is fasting and praying.

They go before the king.

You might know the story of Esther, but it's all to reverse the curse, to turn around

what the enemy meant for destruction. God was going to be intervening to make it a day of great

victory. And on that day, rather than Haman being authorized to slaughter all the Jews, you see,

the Jews authorized to protect themselves, and the reverse happen, and they slaughtered their enemies.

And so they celebrated this as Purim.

Purim means the lot.

But what it really means is the day that God turned around the situation and reversed the curse.
